About the Journal
Acta Historica Universitatis Rákóczianae is a peer-reviewed periodical scientific publication founded by the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University. The primary goal of the journal is to provide a high-quality platform for the publication of results from theoretical and empirical research conducted in the fields of history and archaeology, promoting domestic and international scientific discourse, and increasing the international visibility of regional research. Our publication strives for Category "B" classification in the registry of professional journals in Ukraine, conducting its activities in accordance with the relevant laws of Ukraine.
The journal accepts original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere previously, in the following genre categories:
- Articles: scientific works based on independent research, containing theoretical or methodological novelty.
- Source editions: critical processing and transcriptions of historical sources.
- Reviews: reviews and critical evaluations of scientific monographs and volumes.
